“ Cooper’s Alley is a charming restaurant that fits right into the magic of Nashville. Once you step inside, you’re greeted by vintage French toile decor throughout every room. Every detail from the plates to even the way they bring you the bill in a hardcover novel is thoughtfully prepared by the owner, Carrie. If you enjoy vintage charm, you definitely need to stop in for a meal. All of the food is farm to table, fresh and homemade. We were there for a special Valentine’s Day dinner. The appetizer board with bacon wrapped dates, cheeses, and various other items was delicious. The salads and bread with honey and butter were fresh and delicious. The special entree of the night was a filet, a rosemary chicken breast, and some Cajun shrimp and rice. Everything had a nice flavor, the food was cold by the time it got to us, but they were extremely busy. The sides of mashed potatoes and carrots paired perfectly with the entree selections. For dessert we had a strawberry cake. The whipped topping was the best part in my opinion. Light and the perfect amount of sweetness to end the meal. Though the food was delicious, I must say that Cooper’s Alley is a bit disorganized. It is very hard to get a hold of the restaurant if you have questions before your visit and the service can be quite slow. However, this was not a deal breaker for us as we weren’t in a hurry and appreciated the homelike feel of the place. If you are short on time or need accommodations, then you may not be happy with your experience here. However, if you go in with the right expectations and appreciate the uniqueness of Cooper’s Alley, I guarantee your experience will be a great one! ”
“ Just made my first trip to Cooper’s Alley for brunch, and I must say I don’t think I’ll dine anywhere in the area ever again...It was that incredible. The ambience of the space makes you feel right at home, then the cocktail menu goes just exotic enough while maintaining its root in farm classics. The breakfast platter was surreal. I never eat biscuits and gravy and I ended up eating all of mine. This is worth a special trip. We’ll be back, and tell all of our friends ”
“ My fiance and I celebrated our anniversary dinner here on 01/04 and absolutely adored this place!! It's the coziest restaurant I've ever been to and our server was awesome. We requested a cocktail that wasn't on their menu, and since they didn't have all the ingredients for the random drink we requested, our server Jackie threw something together she thought we would like and it was SO good!! For our main course, I got a spicy pasta dish and my fiance got the lamb, both were delicious!! The desserts were also amazing..it was my first time having creme brulee and wow!!! The service was great, food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was unbeatable! ”

“ If I could give it 10 stars I would! My husband and I have visited on 3 separate occasions and have been pleased every time. If you enjoy a slower paced multi-course meal with great conversation from the team serving you, you will love it here. It’s a fun surprise to see what they are serving each time we come and you can tell a lot of care goes into their dishes. At our most recent visit, we arrived as they were closing and they still seated us. We felt as though we were in a good friend’s home - and they treated us as such. I had a friend with me from out of state and she said it was an amazing experience. Definitely recommend coming here! This is a local gem that definitely deserves your support. ”
“ The restaurant was adorable! I was in town visiting my friend and we decided to go to Coopers Alley, we were not disappointed! I had no idea that there is NO written menu as the choices change daily based on what is the freshest ingredients available. We had some amazing appetizers, the salad was good. Our dinner choices were great, we chose the pot roast and salmon, Then you get dessert. Our server Mariah was such a sweetheart, she was a blast to talk with. When I visit again I will definitely come back. I would like to try the breakfast or brunch next. ”
